I originally wanted to say

But if Kendrick could actually make a dope song out of it, then I'm on board. Most of the rappers DJ Mustard works with are ones that I hate, and the only time he worked with a rapper that I liked it ended up being the motto which made me want to kill myself.

We'll see though. I doubted Kendrick's voice change, and he ended up using it to make some great songs and had some pretty bad ass moments with it.
