I think if you want it to be open to other people but obviously an Eminem forum, then hiphopshop > hiphopshelter. They never referred to anything as the 'Hip Hop Shelter", it was just The Shelter while they did talk about the Hip Hop Shop.

hiphopshop is a good reference, sure, but it totally makes us sound like a store. hiphopshelter sounds like a community center, a positive atmosphere for rap fans.

The reason why other forums such as KTT are filled with bait threads etc. is, because the mods don't do shit. I really feel like our forum has amazing mods that are capable of handling certain situations without any further insults or stuff like that

The good thing about KTT is, they cover a wide range of artist, and they cover every genre. If u want to discover new artists, its the place to be. Here its always the same old artists and then the 1000s of threads about Eminem, its just not fun tbh.

love him or hate him, kanye has been a huge part of hip-hop for a decade and he's already discussed here more than any artist other than em and possibly yela. the fact that some people hate him is all the more reason to put him in his own section, because then y'all can just avoid that. it would benefit both sides.

Once you start trying to control who you want on the forum (as far as fans) the whole thing will go to shit. As much as it is your decision, you gotta stay away from that dictatorship mentality.
