"Rhyme or Reason" is one of my all-time favourite Em tracks.

Regardless of whatever I think of the rest of the album... just speaking on this track solely a minute - it perfectly captures the MMLP spirit and vibe whilst feeling totally fresh, it's a true re-invention of the feel.

This track along with "Rap God" truly do feel like MMLP 2.0.

His lyricism and flow are outstanding, and it has literally been SINCE MMLP that he let go of this vibe... where there's this total mixture of self-seriousness, silliness, sarcasm, wit... ripping himself and others apart, with tremendous skill. It's a dense balance. After that he became either one or the other aka really self-serious or really silly but never striking this golden balance of him feeling like this unpredictable free-wheeling character.

It just feels like a flow of consciousness, and it feels like MMLP.

And his rapping is as good as ever. Classic fucking shit. Amazing production too, so fucking cooool.
