Look, I'm not gonna be the guy to do it like I want and shut down all suggestions. But I am also not gonna be the guy to put aside my visions just to please every member. Not everyone will get satisfied, and not every suggestion will get considered. Some I will shut down immediately and some I will think about and discuss with Rollefsen. It's his forum as well, so I'm not gonna make all decisions alone.

If the name is Eminem related we need to make it something that hasn't been beaten to death, which means not including "Shady" in it.

So everything with "Eminem" in the actual title has been rejected, it can't have "Shady" in the title, relate in any way to something that is popular right now even if it is or is not referring to said resemblance, can't be theshelter but can be theshelteredones (if said site wants to be self proclaimed loners), cannot be anything related to Eminem that has been beaten to death on a site where at least half of the members make every imaginable play on any and every Eminem reference, while still be distinctly recognizable as an Eminem title and possibly also imply openness to other artists in the genre to attract new members to the site. Sounds pretty reasonable. Do you happen to have any suggestions for a title with this criteria?

Perhaps we could get further if the goal was to get used to something reasonable instead of endlessly discussing what it can't be.

I dunno what's wrong with the available HipHopShelter name. It's a combination between the very real Hip Hop Shop Eminem went to, and the fictional Shelter from 8 Mile.

It's an Eminem inspired Hip-Hop forum. Typing in "Eminem fansite" on Google leads to these results:

If you want it to grow and not be a dead wasteland like TRShady is turning into, you need a creative name that will withstand the test of time.

It's like if you made your rap name Murdah Man but in a few years you decided to change your ways and write a deeper emotional album. Kinda weird right? Why not just think hard about a good one that'll stand the test of time instead of limiting yourself to one thing? In the website's case, limiting yourself to just Eminem fans.

We can name it ShadyStation or something asinine if you'd prefer though.
