I find his music quite boring and he over complicates things to the point where you have to listen over and over before anything he says becomes interesting.
Same with Canibus, I don't give fuck about a lot of the scientific stuff.

I can't believe that there are people comparing My Krazy Life with good kid, m.A.A.d city :facepalm2

The beats of the album are GREAT, but the lyrics are just awful, i mean the song Im sorry Momma doesnt feels nothing personal, and tracks like My Nigga are pathetic.

And i like Gangsta rap, for example i love Oxymoron, because it have an excellent production and pretty good lyrics, i mean Schoolboy it's not the best writter but the worldplay and some messages on Oxymoron are really good.

Just because it's very difficult to comprehend what he's saying doesn't mean he isn't lyrical, if anything, Aesop Rock is the epitome of being lyrical.

You can't fault him for being an educated and intelligent individual.

word. aesop is one of the last rappers i'd expect to be called a bad lyricist. i didn't like the uncluded album, which is unfortunate because i'm also a fan of kimya dawson, but none shall pass is a great album that has the added bonus of featuring my favorite musical artist.

I didn't get my point across properly, I wasn't saying he wasn't lyrical I was saying I don't find his music engaging.
Sure he's got some great, clever songs like "Meter Feeder" & "Zero Dark Thirty", but I find his music not that accessible and due to his lack of melody I just find it never catches my ear.
This is my opinion though.
