his verse was alot better than Jeezys , alls jeezys was , was basically all HEY YEAAAAAH AAYYEE ,

Yet still jeezys topped snitch, which makes no sense at all, hence the death of hip hop, people dont listen to meanigful lyrics anymore they want somethin they can sing along with....

tho jeezys lyrics are simple,, and so is half the music out there,, he still TOPS!! .. obie had a great verse but im guessin it bored people

i think snitch had a waaay better beat than soul survivor , soul survors wasnt as good as it could be i guess ... they were both produced by akon , snitch has better lyrics and beat, yet snitch aint doin nuthin! i heard snitch on the radio once and saw the music video once..... but they overplayed soul survivor on tv and the radio

Gets shown on music channels in the UK. Ive seen the video a few times, but it aint been released yet I dont think.

One that suprises me is Lloyd Banks. According to Wikipedia, it got to 108 in the Charts, and the video aint been on UK TV and its not on the playlists either... yet it has 50 Cent in it who is the biggest thing in Hip Hop atm and is a good tune

it was only a flop because they had problems with the music video and lyrics. everybody has a "snitch" campaign going on and they dont want anything to do with the word "snitch" they tried to fix it but obie gave up on it. thats why it was bad. its a shame because that would really have blown him up but thats the way it is.

i think us at TR, who really like obie, should do a little campaign to get his stuff played on the radio. like.. request it all day or something... i've been thinking about doing that because i know once people actually hear obie, they'd love it.. or at least know who he is.

i always had the same concept that if enough people called up on the radio, u can influence wats playing on the radio.

Sounds like a good idea, but our board wouldve been way more influencial if it was as big as d12world for example. but any effort is good effort so it can be organised.

Honestly - i hated the 'soul survivor' song. The reason i started liking Akon was because of his chorus on 'snitch with Obie. I have no clue why it isn't doing well. It is targeted to the streets though. I wasn't feeling Young Jeezy at all. Sucks when the wrong people get more airplay.

I don't think "Snitch" is the hottest joint on SROM, but I still think it's really good. And "Soul Survivor", I reeeeeaaaally don't like Jeezy's style of rap, feels like he's just screaming and makin' alot of annoying noice. As for the hooks, I likle them both almost ecually, "Snitch" is hotter though...

I haven't seen the Snitch video once here in Sweden (fag-ass-country) but Soul Survivor gets played alot.. And that's whack!
