Jay Z sucks. It's one of the less humble rappers i have ever seen, and for me there lyrics are crap.

I remember listening a Jay Z song featuring Justin Timberlake. Timberlake part was pretty good but later come Jay Z to ruin the song and say ''This niggas doesnt understand niggas and later niggas want to fuck with me but niggas nigga''.

Nas it's a real writter. Jay it's other guy that rhymes Nigga with Nigga.

This would be a completely different battle for me if Jay would have stayed retired after the Black Album. Im not saying Jay would have won or lost but it would have been an extremely tough call. But since Jay came back his albums sans American Gangster have all sucked. In his prime Jay was clever, witty, made many classic albums, was accessible while still being very talented, and was just an all around great MC. He honestly did many things Nas did not throughout his career. But since he has come back he has been a shell of his former self.

Nas on the other hand has always been one of the best MC's ever, (lets just forget Nastradamus ever happened shall we). For me Nas is one of my favorite MC's of all time because of his cleverness, slick rhyming, clever wordplay, and just plain intelligent song creating. While Jay has pretty much been in the mainstream since Vol 2, Nas has never really had that mainstream breakout album to me besides Illmatic and even that was usurped by Ready to Die in a the following months. To me when they went into their battle I thought Nas lyrically won with Ether just down right tearing Jay to shreads, so ultimately for me

Nas Won.
