what are the chances of getting caught downloading music off the internet?

i don't download cd's but i'm wondering how easy it is to get caught.

p2p=peer to peer

they're programs like kazaa, limewire, emule, ares

you have a pretty big chance of getting caught if you use kazaa or limewire cause those are the popular ones

if you dl off rapidshare and megaupload and those sites you're safe i think :-k

depends, my friend got 10,000 dollars, and i heard on the news when they sued kazaa, that someone got a fine of 16,000 up to 23,000 just a few examples of families

Dont use p2p, just beg people on the forum to search for u and then upload for you on a file sharing server, wich cant be legally fucked with.
