Neither have produced classic albums. both have 1 decent if a little shoddy album up their sleeves "Trunk Musik" & "RAW" and both have 1 incredibly disappointing album - more so in Yela's case - in "Knock Madness" & "Radio Active".
I laughed a bit when I saw Yela ranked above Pun & Ghostface, that was retarded.

He's put out thousands of songs and freestyles that are nothing less than classic. His flows and lyrics are in a league of his own and nobody can honestly fuck with him imo. 0-60, TMR and Arena Rap already shit on most of the garbage out today just off of originality alone.

Yela has put out projects that far succeed any projects from any predictable cliché rapper you listen to.

Yes, I've listened to both TM & Radioactive.
I liked some of the stuff on Trunk Musik, it had some good songs but Radioactive was an unsuccessful attempt at pop music.
It wasn't awful - there is a few joints I like i.e The Last Song, Throw It Up - but the label got in the way of the gritty sound he had at that point.
I do like Yela but he shouldn't be anywhere near the top 25, there are plenty of rappers that are better lyricists, as unique and if not more that make FAR better music.
And you can't tell me that he's better than Ghostface & Pun, lol? Really?

Artists outside his circle apart from 50 at that stage.

Yeah definitely, it annoys me when I read some horrifically tunnel visioned perspectives on here but it is what it is, it just comes off as pretentious to me. Ohh Eminem fans, can't believe they love him so much and barely listen to anyone else.

I dont have a problem listening to other rappers and give respect to those who deserve it (see my list for those). Its just that no one ever gave me the emotions that Em gave me through his music (let alone that his lyrical skills are top tier).

He is also the only rapper that i can relate to cause i am white and live in Greece...so no ghetos here no gangstas or many drugs but there is always family violence, political intrigues and need for motivation and a good laugh which is what Shady provides through his music

Yeah, I get it. I think a big part of it is people are afraid of finding someone who they like more than they do the rapper that they currently think is the greatest. That, plus people are lazy and are content with who they listen to and don't feel the need to find anyone else.

I can tell you from someone who discovered rap through eminem, that wasnt the case at all. For me no other artist out of any genre gave me that wow feeling listening to music that he did, and i was listening to everything back then. He delivers his emotions in a way i feel few accomplish. I cant speak for everyone, but i doubt people are just close minded or scared of finding someone else, its possible they just dont like other rappers as much.

Since then iv found other artists i like, but listening to a lot of rappers that seem to be on everyones top 10, i genuinely dont enjoy their music as much, theyre all good rappers mind you, but i dont get a sense of excitement listening to it. i could talk endlessly why that is but yea. When someone finds a rapper who makes them feel a certain way its totally amazing everytime you hear them rap, hard to explain..
