The best part is no one could argue against it, or any of our opinions for that matter, so you just resort to mocking us in what you think is funny but really is incredibly cringe-worthy. Like I can legitimately see see you guys sitting at your computers snickering to yourself because you think you're "getting" us. How about your actually back up your opinions and post something with some actual substance and have a discussion instead of the pointless bullshit that 99% of this forum contains. This forum has become a cesspool of ignorance and any posts that actually contribute to a discussion get shot down (everyone is allowed to have their opinions why don't you leave us alone!!!!!!!!)
You think your personal attacks make up for what you lack?

Nah, MBDTF is probably the greatest album of all time m8.

Seems to be the popular opinion on this board. Sounds like nails on a chalk board for me. Blame Game was a near classic until Chris Rock has to fuck it all up. So Appalled was a great track. AOTL was pretty incredible production wise, but Fergie? Really? The Interlude to the song was better LOL. Can't even think of any notable tracks off that album...Runaway maybe? Listening to a asshole giving himself a toast for being an asshole isn't really my cup of tea. The praise that album gets will never make sense to me.

I'd disagree, at least in the case of MMLP. I love GKMC, but I enjoy the rapping on MMLP more. The production is a toss up for me, possibly leaning more towards GKMC, as both have beats I really like and ones I really don't care for. MMLP had quite a few empty sounding beats though, which is why I'd give a slight edge to GKMC.

I'd rather listen to MMLP as a whole though. I think as far as the rapping goes, there's more passion behind what is being said. There isn't really a common idea, but all the songs fit together nicely. Eminem managed to make everything seem completely effortless on it, and made songs interesting without the help of amazing production. Overall I find it more listenable, and that it has a higher replayability.

Other than MMLP though, I'd probably end up agreeing. I like a lot of Eminem songs, but as albums there always seems to be a few glaring flaws that hold them back for me.

Can't really deny this...although as a whole, I find the album very dark. If I'm feeling down and need a pick-me-up, I can't really fuck with that album anymore.

I think TES is my favorite album of all time though :coffee: Used to sleep to Cleaning out my closet on repeat...that song blew my mind when it came out for some reason.

but SSLP is Em's best album :/. Seriously no album encapsulates the 90s like it, I don't mean 90s hip hop. But like it's aesthetic just gives me Ren & Stimpy Vibes, MTV, Grunge, and like Blink 182ish bands. Something about it, it's really atmospheric.

I just don't think that SSLP has aged very well, which is probably why it feels like a piece of the 90s still.

You know, I was actually thinking about posting something similar as a response. Why I decided not to is my decision.

The thing is this, you are perfectly right when it comes to what you said, or for that matter what is being said in this thread about albums etc.. Everything at the end of the day, or most of it is an opinion and it comes down to what you prefer/think. Nobody can argue with you about thinking that GKMC is better than any Em album. That's your right to think that.

But why should I, who doesn't care about proving you wrong or any similar shit for that matter, try to argue with you about GKMC being better than lets say MMLP or any album from him when you only said that to provoke and be arogant.

I'm not gonna argue with your opinion, and nobody should. I mean, do I hate on you for liking sadistik ? Am I writing a paragraph on him to show you that he's wack (which I don't think he is, but I'm using this as an example). I would probably fall asleep while listening to him so I can make out his flaws before I could even click submit on my post. ..... see, this is the shit you would have said to make a rapper look bad so you could make fun of a person liking that certain artist.

You've always been like that. Don't know if you realize it or not. That's why I don't think anybody needs to prove you anything or have a discussion with you when it will come down to music being subjective and all that shit and/or you being ignorant towards somebodies opinion

That's always the problem for me and mmlp is subject to that as well even though it was the closest Eminem ever got to a perfect album. Amityville, Under The Influence and Kim are all prty bad tracks that I can't enjoy at all anymore while Compton is the only song like that from GKMC. Eminem's rapping is probably the best ever on that album but I think Kendrick's a better lyricist. Eminem's humor on that album has also gotten really old to me while Kendrick's tackling more important issues but doing it in a way where most listeners don't even realize it (like Eminem). I think MMLP is still a 9 but GKMC is just more complete and consistently high.

Real is pretty shitty "m8". Also, why don't you like Kim?

I think that it is hard to compare though. Eminem's humor on it might be old to you now, but it's a 14 year old album. There's been a lot more time for references/jokes on MMLP to become irrelevant or stale. It would be interesting to see how Kendrick's album ages in comparison, imo.
