Was Just listening to Good Kid Maad City bonus tracks today. For some reason, I had not heard Country Building Blues before (dont know which exclusive that was). Anyway, the striking similarity of the intro

Greeting boys and girls
My name is Petey P
Kendrick's childhood imaginary friend (that’s right)


to Eminem's The Kids

Hi there little boys and girls (FUCK YOU!)
....
And if you don't believe him, ask ya mom (that's right)


was interesting to me. It is obvious that song was the inspiration for the Melodies, hooks and intro. Of course, the verses for Kendrick are nolstagic and biographical while Eminem's are funny and hypothetical so its not straight jacking.
