What if it is actually about Joe Budden listening to Headlights? The reason why it's gonna be longer is because of the fact that he pauses the song several times due to the severe emotional pain it is inflicting on him.

the main reason why I'm very excited is that Headlights is the #1 song of MMLP2, imo. A video for it (and even more, a short film) is exactly what I wanted. A storytelling video for this powerful song.

I would say its a little too personal to be marketable. Of course in 2002 when Eminem was the fucking king of everything, people cared about his personal life, but now, the most personal he can get is in Not Afraid territory.
