Port Arthur was massive - like Sandy Hook, Virgina Tech etc - we haven't had any full scale event like that in ages.

The manifesto things reminds me of Anders Behring Breivik, the dude who tried to blow up the government building, and then killed around 70 kids at an island here in Oslo.
He also had a manifesto talking about his life, views and such and details of his plan. He e-mailed it to several people before comitting the act.
That manifesto was on 1400 pages though.

I hate that whenever there's a big shooting, people make it about politics but after everything blows over, people seem to forget about it until the next crime. It should be more about the victims and how to prevent people going off the deep end. It's frustrating.
