I guess I kind of like this... The quality feels a bit reminiscent of the 90s.

It just sounds like another guy from L.A. rapping, though...

This is a really confusing album, Blu is still one of the best lyricists ever and his writing is phenomenal but his flow now is just :zipped: He used to have the whole package and his flow was so smooth, it complimented his writing really well. Now it just sounds so awkward. I can't really put my finger on it, I don't know if it's the mixing or the way he's enunciating words but it's really jumpy. Not jumpy like eminem but there's like a lot of stress on syllables and then a quick pause and then another syllable and it just shoots back and forth. I almost feel like he's doing it on purpose but I don't know why. Album is still good though, didn't have much expectations because double albums usually always disappoint but this didn't seem too long. Most of the collabs weren't bad but Blu just destroyed every guest on the album every time so he made it seem that way.
