It may seem like a stretch, but the way he doesn't pronounce his "R's" in the words "worst" and "fear" make me think he was trying to rhyme it with "footsteps."

Myself and EminemInsider (at least I think so) have always seen this as the "dud" part in an otherwise flawless song.

I think he just decided to rhyme one syllable for this part of the verse because he was so determined to tell the world how much he hates his father that he didn't want any multis to soften the blow/get in the way.

Yeah, the multis in that section end with, "follow in the foot" (with the preceding string...bottom of the mud, etc.).

I wouldn't give him that much credit. I doubt the moron even realizes what a multi is.

Forgive me if most of these are already noticed by most of you, but I just recently started listening to Eminem Show again and am realizing rhymes I didn't when I was a child:

I'll take you back to '73
Before I ever had a multi-platinum sellin' CD

I look at Hailie, and I couldn't picture leavin' her side
Even if I hated Kim, I grit my teeth and I'd try

^Didn't realize how long those rhyme were.

But I'm only human, but I'm man enough to face them today
What I did was stupid, no doubt it was dumb
But the smartest shit I did was take the bullets outta that gun

^Small, almost unnoticeable, internals there.

Edit:

Now, Idk if these were meant to be obvious, but I just noticed them, and am convinced they were intended...

Just heard this in verse 3 of Business for the first time..

"It's just like old times, the Dynamic Duo
Two old friends, why panic? You already know"

I had heard the "duo" and "two old" rhyme, and "dynamic/ why panic" but for some reason I never heard the last two syllables of the rhyme "Dynamic Duo/Why panic you al(ready)"

Very cool, I love his second and third verse in that song.

Texas Chainsaw, left his brains all/
Dangling from his neck, while his head barely hangs on

I never realized 'Texas' was there to rhyme with 'left his.' Also, could the italicized portion be an attempt/intention to inversely rhyme with the bold portion?

A bloodstain is orange after you wash it 3 or 4 times/
In a tub.. but that's normal, ain't it Norman

I am convinced he pronounces 'three' like 'threy' to rhyme with the other multis.

Motherfuckers want me to come on their radio shows/
Just to argue with 'em cause their ratings stink

Never knew that part had an internal rhyme in there.

I have no idea if this one has already been mentioned.

"Why do you date me if you say I make you sick?
And you've had enough of me
I smother you, I'm 'bout to jump off the edge"

...

"We're still together in my head
And you're still in love with me
'Til I woke up to discover that that dream was dead"

Edit--I just realized that today is my fifth anniversary on here. :D

^ happy anniversary!

This isn't a great find, and it might be a stretch, but in public enemy #1 I think I found two more rhymes to go with the "why do" rhyme

I think in the lines:
"Right outside the window of my living room
And if they do you can say good night and bye-bye to them iTunes"

I think he's trying to rhyme "right outside" (he kinda skips over the "out") and then does the same thing in the following line with "night and bye"

Not great finds (especially since its only 2 syllables), but I always like finding new rhymes and thought I'd share
