But nowadays if you want to sell your album you have to rely on singles.
See Florida Georgia Line, Imagine Dragons, Bruno Mars, Luke Bryan, Lorde, Katy Perry....Em has a good built-in fanbase, but if he still wants to sell in the long run, he needs to offer singles after singles. The US album market now flops even harder than Relapse, with the huge single-sellers only push above 2 million when it comes to album sale, Em still has chance to resurrect MMLP2 at least to 2.5 million with one or two moderate-hits. (Plus, Survival and Rap God are not singles, they’re not sent to radios, Survival serves for COD whilst Rap God is a buzz single or street single.)
