Dope as fuck.

SUCH improvement from 010 'fast flow rappity' moments... he's actually saying shit which is relevant to his life but in an exaggerated parable kind of way like in the glory days and the rhyming and wording of it all is just awesome.

And it has that real weird 'only Em' unique kind of vibe to the way he flows it all. He started to lose a bit of that edge in 010 wording by trying to adapt. But some MMLP2 flows and rapping are just >> All time shit.

Okay, I just went back 10 pages and read. And I gotta say, are people on here still not able to get a hold of the fact that it doesn't have to sound like MMLP just because it's MMLP2? How many times does Em have to say, "Not a direct sequel, a revist"? MMLP was about Em's views of the world then, his family, his life, and his mother. MMLP2 is about Em's views on the world now, his life, his family, and his mother. He's not gonna talk about killing Kim or insulting his mother 10+ years after the first, when he was angry and stressed. And The Monster is one of the most honest songs Em has ever written, I don't give a damn if it's "too poppy" that's not the point. It is MMLP2 whether you like it or not.

Meh. He had a huge comeback that year. Recovery put him back on top, and had one of the best reactions since MMLP1. Now that we've got MMLP2, of course Recovery and 2010 may look bad. But at the time. We all were like "EMS BACK! OMG BEST ALBUM! ONE OF HIS BESTS! EM IS AMAZING ONCE AGAIN" So yeah, don't go bashin it just cus he is WAY better now.

2010 was a great year commercially for Em but as far as what the true Em fans wanted and needed, Recovery was lacking
