Here in several countries in Europe, kebabs are known as different things, especially for me with Pakistani origin mixed with the Norwegian culture. In Pakistan there are several things that are called kebabs, but sometimes with another word in front of the word kebab, like shish. My mom often made different dishes that she called kebab. Here in Norway one of the most popular "fast food" is kebab. Like this:



Pita bread, salad, meat, some vegetables like cucumber, corn and tomato, and then either a mild, medium or strong sauce.

Hundreds of shops "specializes" in this here.
