Disk Defragmenter

Perform a disk Cleanup (Start -> Programs -> Acces. -> System Tools -> Disk Cleanup. Now peform a Disk Defragment, like Katastrophe wrote.

You can also download a few apps, like Xp Tools.

And Gameboost, this makes your Processor faster.

You can also select your own apps at Startup. You can do this with Xp Tools.
But this is faster, Go To Start -> Run, type : msconfig hit Enter.
Go to the tab Startup, select the apps that you want to.

do both of those and then do a virus scan. viruses can really slow down your comp. also see how much memory u have. if u dont have a lot of memory then ur comp with for surely be slow. check to see. heres how:

go to Start

right click on "My Computer"

Click "Properties"

somewhere on that new pop up screen should say "# MB of RAM" #=how many MB u have.

Xp tools, is a free trial app. It containt rare tools, but handy like..
Chose the startup, search for spywaren search for missing/corrupt files.
Search spyware, kind of virusscan.. it's worth it, to download it.

ok...ur memory is pretty good. almost 1 GB is not that bad at all considering i have 504 MB so its pretty good. your GHz(gigahertz<sp?) is pretty low and that could be the problem. GHz are another way of determining speed on your computer. im not entirely sure on how to boost it up but its possible. try the otherways and see if they work before you mess with the GHz or other parts of the comp except the memory..those are easy to change.

Just use apps, do not overclock your Computer. Overcloking is Give more CPU.
Turn 1.0 into 1.2; bit the risk here, it's can be a crash, al your hardware.. blown up than.

So if you don't know much about computer, never begin with overclocking.

if so, then i dont think i wanna try cuz, lets put it this way ive been to some sites and well i now found out that you can track that, and its easy, so anyway, my uncle builds computers, so obviusly he would be the one to fix it, and well,i dont want him to track the "sites" ive been on
