Actually it's not that difficult for maintaing album sales.
Luke Bryan has a new single that is doing good on itunes and air-play hence his album still sells really well; JT's 20/20 Experience Part II which was free-falling soon after release has been resurrected since May by a new single Not A Bad Thing and now could still sell 5k-ish per week (outselling Drake); Not to mention Iggy Izalea, John Legend and Jason Darulo's steady sales all have things to do with singles. That's the key-poinnt in today's market, pulling singles one after another. But the premise is you really want your album to sell. On Em's case, I'm not sure if he really cares about this album's sale or not? With Recovery we could see clearly that he does care, but I am not sure about this era. He seems very reluctant to do anything related to promo....
I hope that BP will be the next single . I hate this kind of songs but for the mainstream it is perfect .
The Bonus songs on MMLP2 are fire.
Maybe he can repeat the same magic with sia like he did it with Rihanna in LTWYL.(salewise)
Or he release a Re-Release of MMLP2 like he did with Relapse Refill that would push the sales .
