Completely agree. It seems like he doesn't know what beats are whack, what lines are corny, and what flows are trash. He can still write some dope stuff but its burried beneath a lot of mediocre.

I was kinda expecting ems voice to sound more smoother kinda like in "no apologies" idk it just kinda sounded like it was building up to match that style... idk.

The beat isn't bad...it is repetitive but not necessarily bad. It is a bit annoying during the hook, but the hook is very short thankfully. Everything else about the song is awesome.
