1. Brazil 2. Netherlands 3. Germany 4. Argentina. Germany had only 4 points going into the Round of 16. And as my dad taught me when I was little, "Brazil always wins."

I don't think the referee was that bad during Brazil Colombia to be honest. Was it really in favor of Brazil?

Honestly I didn't watch it, but I was talking about it with friends, and they anulated a goal to Colombia that it was a legal one. Also the penalty over Carlos Bacca, and Julio César should get a red card and Thiago Silva a yellow one.

Let's be honest, Brazil it's been helped since day 1, it's absurd to deny the evidence.

I must say the ref in the Brazil - Colombia is Spanish, he got lots of criticism except by Fifa, that congratulated him for his work!

Anyway again Colombian press took it a bit far , The headline of this newspaper says "Spanish ref : son of bitch" . A bit unnecesary.

the referee was pretty bad calling soft fouls all game long, it was annoying but he did not favor any side imo
it was offside so the goal was rightly cancelled out

If you think Brazil is getting help this cup, then do you think it was getting help every cup it has won or gone far in?

Also, I agree with Ku53v's above post.

I think Brazil is getting help because they are the organizers. They are a great team, no doubt, but they have been helped since the first game. Brazilians are filling the stadiums, imagine the reactions if the team was eliminated.
The goal of Colombia was legal according to people here.

My opinion anyway.

2 absolutely amazing semi-finals coming up! Can't complain about the quality of the teams on display, all powerhouses with a good chance of winning (maybe minus Brazil due to their loss of key players)

@Hesky , I didn't watch it myself, I said what my friends told me, but ok, even if the goal was legal, the arbitration was bad.

Am I the only one here who thinks that Fifa helped Brazil a liiiiiitle bit since the start? Everybody mention that in my country. This is in Spanish but you can see some videos of what I talk about . In every one of the 5 games there was some polemic.

Well the ref did reward Brazil the free kick where David Luiz scored a fantastic goal but it wasn't supposed to be a foul the ref made a bad call.

The ref was terrible all game, he didn't seem to favor any side though

I haven't heard anyone say that irl. I think some ppl still assume FIFA is still manipulating matches in the host's favor, like it used to. But it hasn't in years and I see no evidence of help this year.
