He has some beautiful gems, but compared to the likes of other producers, he doesn't really stand a chance at all.

True that he's awesome.
Although I'm glad he worked with Rubin on MMLP2 as I don't think Em would have ever made something quite like RoR without him and that shit feels fucking fresh and hella funky and so crisp and loud in comparison to the muddy and amateur tackiness of Recovery.
I wish him and Rick did the whole album though.
Just make a fucking classic with one producer, it'll feel AT ONE. Instead of picking and choosing random shit from all over the place. Sounds shit yo. Honestly I think MMLP2 could have been his best album, and I believe the material was probably made to make it so. Just once again, the way it was put together fml.
