Doctor Who is a great show.
The people that criticize it have only seen the more recent - lets face it, shittier - episodes.

I've only seen the first two. I can still remember going watching the first one with my dad as a kid.
1st and 2nd are still fantastic watches but the 3rd one was just totally lacklustre for me and the ending wasn't sad - it was cringeworthy.
