@Menzo, alot of people feel that just because a song is emotional it means its good, the dude also probably has a limited knowledge of his catalogue, i remember when i first started listening I thought mockingbird was one his best songs.

I still dont think its as bad as some people here think but its definitely not one of his best.

UTI is a shitstain in there. If it wasn't for that it would be a near perfect album. 9.9 ~ 10/10

haha i disagree, its the best song from encore exluding the deluxe songs IMO by far.

and there are numerous parts in the song where it sounds lazy/ was just writing hoping it rhymed or something.

"the more it backfires on me" the way he says that sounds off to me though its kind of hard to explain why, kind of awkward.

"things always happen for a reason" and the line preceeding that feel really weird in the way he flowed, it sounds like someone who just started rapping.

"and stuck em under the tree" to a lesser extent than the other ones but this part of the line feels off as well.

Overall I dont think its a bad song by any means, just not quite as good as it was when i was younger atleast for me. its not really the same song, but it does feel like a worse hailies song almost.

The hooks on encore for the most part were good

And the beats. Only problem is Pillboy's rapping.

It's funny nowadays seems to be the opposite, Em killing his verses over shitty beats and hooks (mainly Recovery, although I know how loathed the beat and hook to Asshole are)
