Of course.

Question for you guys: should we consider the 3rd and 4th verses different or just start grouping them into a '3rd verse'?

Because the third verse is amazing as well, with the big reveal and the criminal reference and Stan sound and stuff.

It's the best or second best for me, possibly behind the Renegade first verse.

Singin' "Bagpipes from Baghdad" again
In my dad's drag draggin' a faggot in a Glad bag
Won't be the last time I make a dramatic entrance like that again
You thought I was lyin' when I said I think that I'm crossin' the line again
I've lost my mind, caution oh God I think I've just thought of another fucking line
Forgive me father, for I have sinned
But hip hop has left me brainwashed with a violent streak

Still a good bump.

It's not really the nostalgia factor that makes this album appealing, it's the fact that Marshall is actually rapping good on this record. People like to pull the nostalgia card when the truth is, the rhyming is generally really technically sound in terms of vocabulary and structure.

The production is like the icing on the cake, but Rick is just a beast like that.

:y:

When I was reading album reviews and stuff when the album first came out a bunch of sites and articles were saying how the album only survives on nostalgia and other than that Em is just rapping about the same things over and over again but now he's a 41 year old man so the shit is tiring. :shakehead:
