Encore has a better narrative structure than Recovery does.

If you mean what I think you mean then it also has a better narrative structure than the majority of his discography.

What i meant was:

Encore = a story arc
Recovery = mixtape-ish

Yeah that's what I thought. In that case Encore is arguably his best narrative structure of his entire career.

I think encore is his highest point in his career, I mean he has mastered is skill so perfectly that everything is so clean and smooth and he felt like he didnt have to try as much so it sounded kinda lazy... Idk im no good with words :(

(that's an unpopular opinion here, right?)

I think you mean 2002 em, right? Cause 2003 Em was the rise of gangster eminem.

The album moves along extremely smooth despite the fact that it's pretty bi-polar. Far from the highest point in his career though.

Maybe you meant his fame was at a peak back the and it seemed like he didn't need to put as much effort into his music because they were pretty much guaranteed to be hits?

I mean Just Lose It and Like Toy Soldiers were both #1 smash hits in the UK and were never off the radio. His stuff is barely ever on the radio any more now...just The Monster once in a blue moon

Yeah Encore does still play well for me. It feels better as an whole album when you play it than Recovery.
