They're kind of a mix between the two options listed in the thread title. Except some babies are ugly af and those ones are really bad.

All babies look like dumpy potatoes and smell like spoiled tit milk.

Well, most. I've seen some babies where I'm like "d'aawwww". I was a cute baby, so basically I peaked as far as looks then and it's been all downhill from there. I know a girl who looked like she was beat with a shovel as a baby, and now she's gorgeous.

Why did I have to peak in my most useless form?

i fucking hate (most) babies/kids with a burning passion. but not as much as i hate teens. i meet some exceptions but most parents are weak and thus produce shit children. the worst for me is frat dudes though. like the real douchey/aggressive bro ones who never go anywhere without their 9 other bros that all some how lack the ability to conversate amongst eachother without the entire room hearing every word. the ones with their legs shamelessly spread out into the isle on your flight as they silently rock out to linkin park on their studio beats
