Thats so dope, my ex girlfriend now( unrelated to this, hopefully thats obvious lol) "listened to Eminem for the beats" I died a little inside lol.

Is she as passionate as you are about the genre? I've yet to meet a woman whos really into rap music on more than a superficial level. Obviously they exist, so I don't mean to be offensive, just in my personal experience.

Lol who listens to Eminem for the beats? Eminem is probably one of the last rappers I listen to for the beats.

And that's not saying the beats he raps over are bad I'm just saying that only taking the beat away after listening to an Eminem song is like buying an eclair and only gently nibbling on the outside.

Yeah thats my exact thought lol! I mean it worked for her in conjunction with his voice I guess, but she didnt really listen to the intricacies and complexities of all the words and shit, or barely even the lyrics at all really with the exception of a couple songs.

I concur with your analogy lol.

No, but she understands it. She wouldn't do what I do, constantly checking for new shit and staying tuned in (she gets the updates from me anyway lol), or really breaking down lyricism, but she listens to Yelawolf (She loves Ed Sheeran too so Slumdon Bridge was a GOAT collab), Eminem, 50, Nas (God's Son is her favorite rap album), a little bit of Monch, a little bit of Rakim...she doesn't like everything, but she'll try to get into whatever is going on at the time.

That's really awesome, its cool that she shares that interest with you. She sounds like a keeper. :b:

On a side note, I actually think an Ed Sheeran/Eminem collaboration would be kind of cool. Ed Sheeran is a talented dude.

Singin' "Bagpipes from Baghdad" again

Won't be the last time I make a dramatic entrance like that again
You thought I was lyin' when I said I think that I'm crossin' the line again
I've lost my mind, caution oh God I think I've just thought of another fucking line
Forgive me father, for I have sinned
But hip hop has left me brainwashed with a violent streak

Yeah haha. He is really talented and I wouldn't mind seeing that either. I took my girlfriend to his concert during his last tour and it was really really cool.
