What people fail to realise is that almost every song on the first disc wasn't intended for this project. These are just throwaways from their own albums.

So people shouldn't be expecting Em to be serial killer Em on all songs. There's no concept to the project.

New music and unreleased music are two different things.

And if there is something Eminem learned from Relapse is that the people doesn't like to hear every song of him as a serial killer.

You can't possibly know that, you're making your own assumptions just like everyone else. We know the guys at D12 were specifically recording for this project. There exists no reason to assume they're all just "throwaway" tracks. I doubt they would release sub-par material for the celebration and promotion of their own label. Unless you and I have different definitions of the word "throwaway" I don't see how thats the only logical conclusion.

We didn't say the content of the first disc would be only throwaway tracks, but you can say that at less the 60% of the material is that. Which is not a bad thing for me really.

Psycopath Killer (Fit with the general concept of the album)
Detroit Vs Everybody (Track where they show which are the best rappers of Detroit here, fit with the fact of showing their skills and seems that was prepared for the album)
Guts Over Fear (I think it was just maded for the album even if the concept doesn't fit. An radio- catchy song with a pop artist, seems like it was maded for the record)
Twisted (Other song with Yelawolf, his "Psycopath killer" friend talking about their life, plus Skylar Grey does the chorus)

You know you can change the title of a song, right?

Of course you can, but it has to be album specific to be named that way.. Eg- he won't make a song about fucking rihanna and rename it from "the night when she came" to SHADY XV
