Kxng Crooked (I guess that's his new name? Lel) sucks. Point blank, period. No more from me on him.
Joe Budden did what every underground rapper does at the beginning and said "hey I don't talk about my cars and shit, so I'm better than you". His voice is just vocal NyQuil for me on this, he really let me down on this because of how half-heartedly he was rapping, and his lyrics were shallow as a puddle, this pales in comparison to the last cypher, where he gave Em a run for his money. He sounded uninspired here.
Yelawolf caught my attention at the beginning because he was spinning a story. Just made me think of a redneck sitting on his porch in a rocking chair with moonshine in his hand and a spittoon at his foot. The peak of his verse was that Charlamagne/Jamar/white devil shit, but after that he just kept going "I got [this], I got {that]" and it started getting redundant. Not bad afterwards, just hit the peak too early for me.
Joell Ortiz actually didn't sound bad to me at all here. I really liked it and I don't know why, I don't really have much else to say about it.
Royce He was cool, that's about it. I liked that colostomy bag/afterbirth line just because. Not exactly sure why Em found that one line funny but whatever.
Eminem murdered it. I honestly was surprised, I expected him to be the best, but this was something else to me. His presence was already way better than the rest. They were talking, he was performing. His rhymes were incredible and his lines were vintage Eminem. Someone else said he seemed a little influenced by Dizaster, and I agree. He's the only one on this who I'd spend my phone's memory on, this was fucking fire.
So I don't normally like ranking things but I'm just gonna do it for this, for me it goes:
Eminem, and there's absolute no competition for him here
Joell
Yelawolf
Royce
Joe
Bizarre's dyslexic tweets
Crooked

"Been known to lose it though so if I overdo it you drove me to it
When I step in the vocal booth like I'm supposed to do
And I murder you on a fuckin' track like Tony Stewart"
