Am officially excited for this album.

DvE is nice, Em's flow is retaaaaaaaaaaaarded. They all did their thing, although I still don't like Sean's voice, sounds so unenthusiastic. Wish Danny's verse was a bit longer, and I wish Dej's hook was repeated twice, just felt kinda short.

Yeah but he surprised the fuck out of me. He was actually pretty decent on this tbh
and Loaf of Bread didn't ruin this!

Yeah he was okay, probably the best we'll get out of him.

Yeah. Oh well.
Fantastic track. Everyone came correct

I dont know about 'knew', But I think 'assumed' is a better fit.

I'm just assuming this is produced by him anyway.. and I'm probably right.

Kobe x Khalil is a package, Kobe's hook came with the beat he sent Em.

Should be dope none the less

Just wait for the 'I knew recovery Em was on here!' comments

Lmao, Big Sean doesn't know how to fucking rap. He just talks in a rhythm, he doesn't put anything into it. It's honestly the only negative I can think of on this track.

I wasn't expecting it to be as good as it is to me so I'm enjoying the fuck out of the track as a whole though. Luckily Sean's verse is boring enough for me to tune out so I can rock to the beat instead.

Kobe has been on songs not produced by DJ Khalil, you know.

Hmmm :-k
But.. how?!

I don't know. Maybe he does. His rhyming and flows just sound so refined and perfectly laid out. You can't really get much better than Groundhog Day, but that's a specifically crazy track. Even the average non-rappy song like Guts Over Fear is still written so damn well. It's amazing how that rhyme scheme carries out through that song and his calm, relaxed flow mixed in with more intense ones like "this is for every kid..". Then the cypher verse which is just brutal...I don't know. I just think it's possible.

I can't see him topping something like Rap God or Groundhog Day, but maybe the standard for the other songs will be lifted.

This would be really exciting to see. I think one thing he can do more is in making songs which are conceptually creative -- like Stan. There are glimpses of it in MMLP2 (Bad Guy, RoR, So Far, Brainless...) but he can take it much much farther.

I really wish I understood what people saw in Danny Brown, his voice drives me crazy. Like nails on a chalkboard imo.

I love the song, though.

What are the odds, though? Khalil is an in-house producer and Kobe is Khalil's artist.

I know Kobe did songs not produced by Khalil, but I think it's highly unlikely for Em to actually call Kobe to do a hook.

Well, he could still have already been on the beat as part of the package.

A couple times on the cipher theres a fire and passion from Em i haven't heard in a long time, if honestly ever. Em is truly reignited and goddamn I'm excited for the future :smoking:
Predominantly, predominantly, everything's always predominantly
Predominantly white, predominantly black
Well what about me? where does that leave me
Well I guess that Im between predominantly both of em
I think if I hear that fuckin word again Imma scream
While I'm projectile vomiting, what do I look like, a comedian to you?
Do you think that I'm kidding?
What do I look like some kind of idi- wait a minute, shit, don't answer that..
