Although I do think if it was 5% less complex and slightly more conventional in structure it would be easier on the ear.

Eminem is boring as shit in this song. He can rap as fast as he wants that doesn't make a good songs. There's no vibe. In comparison Royce was wayyyy more enjoyable.

Is he trying to win a speed contest or what? His verse in guts over fear was way better because there was a good vibe, you could actually bounce on it.

Or at least he could try to slow down at some points and then accelerate again.

It's like, except for stans like us, everybody thinks that Eminem is boring now, and I really can understand why when I hear this song.

Technically he is well above everyone else, but he should maybe make a difference between freestyles/battles and songs. I want to hear a good song. Guts Over Fear was decent, his last classic for me is still "Deja Vu".

Lots of great songs on MMLP2, Going Through Changes was great on Recovery but he used to put out more unforgettable songs. While everything is enjoyable on MMLP2 (except Stronger than I was), nothing is unforgettable(ok maybe the end of Bad Guy). Man back in the days you could bounce on every song and feel it inside you, you could relate all the time. Pure smooth rhyming and perfect flow.

So yes, people complain because they know what Eminem can do, they remember that he's supposed to be the best.

I thought it was because of the bad beats he always chooses since he doesn't take Dre's beats. But no! DvE beat is really great, everybody does great on it and it's a great track until he comes and does his supersonic speed thing that few people care about.
