That's because you're doing it wrong. Let me show you how.

Print this out, and tape it to your forehead.

Then, while you're listening make sure you stay perfectly focused on how much you desire everything that isn't in what you're hearing. This might make you laugh, but make sure you don't have too much fun or you'll fuck it up and have to do it again. You can practice by doing things like: Eat a piece of milk chocolate, and as you begin chewing, say "Ugh. I wish this was dark chocolate." Grab a can of coke, and right as it enters your mouth, spit that shit out on the nearest happy person and tell them about how you wish you had Pepsi.

Sadly this could be the definition of TRDowners

Singin' "Bagpipes from Baghdad" again
In my dad's drag draggin' a faggot in a Glad bag
Won't be the last time I make a dramatic entrance like that again
You thought I was lyin' when I said I think that I'm crossin' the line again
I've lost my mind, caution oh God I think I've just thought of another fucking line
Forgive me father, for I have sinned
But hip hop has left me brainwashed with a violent streak

There's no doubt that DTW and forever aren't choppy at all.

But at the time that was the opinion of some.

I don't agree that his current flow is choppy either.

Is it weird that i love the choppy stop and go flow em uses here?

It makes it less predictable for me,
Also even if he splits bars it still rides well with the beat if you ask me...

I played the song a lot of times on my way home from work today and the Em verse finally clicked for me actually, I learned to appreciate it.

What you're saying is cool but using the word "learned" made it sound like you had to force yourself to like a song lol which you shouldn't do

While you definitely should not force it, some things are indeed acquired tastes.
