I think LY is so overrated, basically because of the Oscar. It is still a top-notch song, no doubt, but for me personally 8 mile, SFTM, Criminal, Rock Bottom are better than LY.

i agree he has lost some of his "sense" to flow or whatever you wanna call it. If you watch when he performas his olders songs live now, you can see that he doesnt flow them as well as he did when he performed them live back then. Kill you is a good example, since its a pretty hard to flow track. If you watch a ~2001 live performance of kill you, he would flow it nearly perfect, if you watch a 2009+ one, its not.

and LY is top 20 or 30 Em song, but not his best.

Eminem can come pretty close to rapping like he did 1999-2002 but it's not exactly the same. Like others have said, he had to relearn how to rap and regain his motor skills. Anyone with half a brain can realize that that means he had to start from scratch thus it's completely understandable that he raps differently in sobriety.
