Guts Over Fear is way better than Not Afraid. Guts Over Fear is more personal, the hook is increidble and the beat is smooth as fuck. Yeah, is true that the flow on the first verse is a little bit boring, but the second one is just beautiful.

They're about equal IMO. Guts Over Fear beat is about as mediocre or crappy as Not Afraid. Maybe Not Afraid felt great at the time cuz he dropped the accents. I don't hate that song near as much as the next guy. It's LIGHT YEARS better than The Monster, Berzerk IMO.

Guts Over Fear 2nd verse is better than anything on Not Afraid. But Not Afraid had a pretty good consistency throughout the song. I don't hate it.

I'm really not fucking with Ems flow lately though. He didn't have to change shit from HTS or MMLP2. He just needed to 86 songs like The Monster, Berzerk, Stronger Than I Was, etc. And focus on making shit like Baby, Groundhog Day, Evil Twin, Bad Guy, etc. If he just did that........NO ONE......NO ONE would be able to bitch.

Dont get me wrong Not Afraid is a pretty good song but it got some corny lines, thing that doesn't happen on Guts Over Fear.

Also the beat on Guts Over Fear is pretty good. At the second verse the instrumental changes the tone and it sounds like the music of a blockbuster movie. Beat of Not Afraid feels a little bit overproduced.

Not afraid is an upbeat "i can make it thru this" song, so is Survival, and Guts Over Fear follows that entire plot, much like half of the songs Eminem has made since "Beautiful" we get it Marshall, you were on drugs, you came back, you made it thru your worst, you thought about retiring but didn't, we get it, now can you rap about other shit in your music video's? here's my little list of all the songs that i feel are the same, just a different beat and flow
