Shady XV Thread - Nov 24th - LEAKED

So far I'm not happy with the snippets just feeling good but not happy
The songs sound good but none of them is even near the CXVPHER and I am disappointed by Bane, Down and we'll see about Psychopath Killer. Fine Line beat sounds epic for a horror song but his flow and voice wasn't horrorish on it so it doesn't sound horrorish

I hate that the cover art and the quincenera cartoons give the wrong impression about the album, I totally thought many songs would be horror sounding (not that I wanted all songs to be horrorish, I wanted also So Far/Love Game type beats but here is no horror sounding song at all)

So far I think the best songs will be Shady XV and Vegas maybe Die Alone and Fine Line too

Srsly why give us something so good like the CXVPHER and have no song similar to it in many ways on the album


I'm happy Em put these songs on Shady XV and not his solo album, which means we'll get much better songs on his next album and hopefully something similar sounding like the CXVPHER (no not acapella but those flows, lyrics, and voice/accent huh just epic)

He's still using that frog in throat flow, I mean based of the little snippets we've heard he's going in but the way he projects his voice and arranges his schemes, I wouldn't call it "smooth as fuck". Sounds like a little more than half will be dope and the rest is, eh.

With all due respect, I don't understand how any of those snippets can be considered "fast rapping". He sounds like he did on MMLP2, mostly...though the rhyming is more complex which I love. None of that is double time at all...

I'm digging the sound...it has an underground "I don't give a fuck about radio" sound to it.

Shady XV and Fine Line do.....

But seriously....you think Die Alone, Twisted (will have to wait for the potential verses, was good till Skylar came in), Right For Me, Detroit vs Everybody, Guts Over Fear sounds like his rapping on Bad Guy, Groundhog Day, Legacy, Evil Twin, Baby, Brainless, etc????

I don't hear it. Maybe he stopped and go'd a lot on MMLP2 at times, but most of the songs he sounded natural rapping again, which was refreshing. He went perfect with the beat on a lot of the songs, and just constructed some good shit.

Die ALone sounds like it's going to be fucking horrible. Not sure why Em messes with DJ Khalil still....the only song Khalil ever did with him that was anything above mediocre was Echo IMO. Right For Me....he's cramming millions of words into everything line for the sake of it sounded ultra complex, Idk that's just what I hear. Right For Me sounds like it could have been dope as fuck had he just chilled out with his current flow he's in love with since the start of this year it seems. Detroit vs Everybody.....needed a chilled out slower verse but with the same content, would have been dope. But nope, he decided to do that fuck ass flow he's in love with lately.
