Em was riding the beat fine most of MMLP2 and HTS and sounded alive and complex with the rhymes. This shit sounds like Em cant structure dope verses to the beat without attempting to cram so many words and be over complex to the point where its not a good listening experience.

Im baffled by most this shit after his stuff on HTS and MMLP2. This doesnt even match Relapse or Recovery, let alone HTS or MMLP2

don't get me wrong, i like the album but it's something you need to get used to which us as stans don't mind cuz we'll listen to shit over and over till we appreciate it but as a normal consumer you just gotta put headphones on and like what you hear, this is literally too complex sounding most the time that any normal person wouldn't want to re-listen to decypher the song, On mmlp2 atleast i understood it at first listen. I haven't heard this since yesterday and i can't remember a single line except on shadyxv the monster and rihanna line because of this complex flow thing. I said it before too, on a different post i wrote that it seems as if he can't even make a constant rhyme scheme or keep a flow during a verse because he tries too much to complicate things. LIke on DvsE his scheme is all over the place but he rhymes from time to time something alike to make it sound as if it's constant. If you read the lyrics without the song, the lyrics wouldn't even look like a scheme at all probably.

The problem is... he has too many sounds and styles now. His skill on EVERY level right now fucking ethers his prime for me. So does his individual song-making when the song is fully his...

But in terms of consistency of songs and vibes? Nowhere near. He's in 247 mixtape mode.

He doesn't know what to do with it.

Rhyme or Reason / Shady XV could be a whole style and album in itself.

Then you have things like Fine Line or Die Alone... may as well be a different album. His style of the harsher shoutier vibe with the darker and less funky melodramatic music...

If he tries to mix them again it will be another MMLP2.

He needs to pick a vibe and go with it.
