I deleted the desktop in the windows toolbar :(

by accident, I deleted the desktop icone in the windows toolbar, but I want it back!! does anybody know how I could do that? here's a picture for those who don't understant what I'm talking about

drag the items you want
into the bar and they should
stay there, if thats what you want

nah I mean, there was an icon for the desktop on that tool bar (when you clicked on it, the desktop showed up), but I dragged it onto the desktop by accident and then there was a "shortcut link" (I'm not sure if it's the right word in English, but you probably know what I'm talking about) for the desktop on my desktop :confusion:

lol, so I deleted it, thinking it was unnecessary to have this on my desktop, but then I realized that there was no shortcut link for the desktop on my toolbar anymore... so I want one back lol... was that clear? :sweating:

if you want a shortcut on your taskbar
just drag from the original program
drag the image onto the taskbar
and it will stay there as a shortcut

yeah, that's right, but what I need is a shortcut of the desktop on my toolbar, and I can't drag the desktop onto my toolbar... do you know what I should do?

Haha it was cause I tried to move something else onto the desktop but then I dragged out the desktop onto the desktop. :laughing:

what did you do exactly? I'm talking about the desktop, and like Lil Pimp said, there isn't a desktop icon anywhere... you can't drag the desktop on the toolbar, so what did you do exactly?

It's solved now,, but why so hard. Go to your Hard Drive -> My Documents and settings -> (Computer Name -> local Settings -> Bureaublad.

I don't know why, but that didn't work... I tried it, and when I clicked on the desktop icon (in the toolbar), instead of going to the desktop, the folder of the desktop appeared with everything that is on my desktop....that's not what I wanted... but now my problem's solved :happy:
