Representatives at Interscope are putting the word out that a new track "Niggas Wanna Rob Me Blind" is not the work of 50 Cent, despite the fact that the rapper calls himself 50 and shouts out G-Unit repeatedly.
The song features a fake 50 bragging on his riches and fame before taking aim at The Game, Kanye West, Oprah Winfrey, Jay-Z, Nas, Cassidy and Jadakiss - going so far as to include a sample from Kiss' collaboration with Paris Hilton.
During one particularly poignant verse the 50 imposter calls out Hov, "Jay to the Ho you're about a hundred years old, you don't want to go/ You look like a camel, I'm embarrassed to be a rapper/I snatch up Beyonce and blam her like whoa."
The premise of the song rests on 50 defending his riches from jealous rappers and Oprah who are hiding in his closet and under his mattress seeking to "rob him blind."
While representatives at Interscope says the three-and-a-half minute song is not even worthy of comment, the label hoped to put any rumors to rest before anyone mistakenly credited the beef to 50.
