When you first heard eminem, did you think he was black?

i'll be honest. i thought he was black. because the first song that i really started listening to him was soldier. but i didnt know who it was cuz my step dad wouldn't tell me. then i got older and i was like woah. he's white. i know im dumb.

First time when I wasfully aware of eminem as an artist was when i saw the video of Stan, so i saw a white boy

I knew em was white, but i didnt have mtv... etc... so the first time i actually saw him was in 2001 in the stan video..

To be honest till eminem show came out, i couldnt really stand eminem, he was too much of a gimmick to me.

yea the first time I heard him was on MTV's show TRL when they world premeired the music video for "My Name Is" and when I saw this white guy rapping in the video I thought he was just an actor that a black guy hired for the music video but then Carson Daily mentioned it was the white guy in the video that was singing the song.
