Thought the exact same thing. I hated the song and caused me to not be even interested in the album, I didn`t even recognise that it was rap, it just sounded weird to me.

Heard the MMLP in one of my friends cars one day, Kim came on and I was blew away. Bought the album immediately and was delighted to find out there was an album out before that, SSLP. Addicted ever since.
