ideas for battle rap section ( mods please check )

ok i got a couple of ideas for the Rap battles section since we now officialy have a strong squad of battle rappers..people moan about the quality but that will improve what matters is we got quantity

anywae obv all the stuff imma say should happen after the tournament is finished...

we shoud start divisions/categories

have Tag team/topical/Punchline/ryhming/Raw battle

Tag team: is were 2 on 2 they all post a verse and you vote to see who is better takng oth pro's and con's of both battlers verse..simple

Topical: a battle were each battler selects a topic and have so many lines to explain there vie won this topic..basically break the topic up...you vote on who did this best

Punchlines: a battle with a set amount of punches, easy the best punches win

Ryhming: a battle and the winner is who ever had the bets ryhmes

Raw battle: is basically a normal battle with everyhting



also we could have tournaments on set types of battles...itd spice eveyrhting up and helps you improve aswell....

i think itd be pretty sick


also we could have rankings were you battle record places you in the ranknings...your battle record gets monitored by the battle mod and he is the one that changes it

ex: if you record is 3-1 - your number is 2 , is you record is 4-1 you number is 3, the higher your number the higher in the rankings you are

how about a league table??? for each win the mcee recieves 3 points.....a draw 1 point.....etc etc

this could have spin offs like we have seasons and the one at the top at the end wins summit.....

yer toally....plus we would need cgame and the mcees full attention to start the ball rollin......the good thing it would give mcees a reason to make each battle as good as the last to ensure they git there points.....atm it all seems half hearted attempts.

if ur idea of havin a sub forum for different kinda battle we will hv to talk to TR..but before that lets think of some statistics whr it is updated...

if not we can ask them to count OR maybe u can assemble ur self a comitee and count it...

and as for da wins - lose thing for Points ...lets try to work it out differently
coz a noob wit a 3-0 streak cld be better thna a vet with 10-6 battle record
ill think abt some points system ...

so wat im sayin is lets try to get stats of all da CURRENT text battlers on TR and get thr WIN-LOSE record...

guys like TA , FORDIE who are current battlers may hv forgotten thr records so it wld be kool for somebody to count them on behalf....

P.S wen ur countin u must COUNT da OLD TOURNEY and NOT the CURRENT TOURNEY...

Some cool ideas bar, I like the ranking system idea, and the different topics battle idea. So Real, love the league points proposal, that'd be very cool.

And, you're right C-Game, i've never kept track of my battle records, so if someone wants to hunt em down, would be cool, might do it myself later.

i didnt notice tht earlier coz i was postin durin a lab and i only read bars drop...

i like tht idea

well this is how it can be done
we will have an overall rankin and a season rankin
overall rankin will be all battles

and a season rankin lets say 3 months per season whr all battles are posted..
and den may be da grand tourney to end it alll...

but i need a responsible person to make this post because HE and ME will be da only ppl who will be accessible to it..
p.s HAYZI will to .. but da dude is busy these days ..wen he is back full time im sure he will help us

right now on da top of ma head i have bar who can keep da scorecard tickin...
i can help him tooo....

and some other members who will keep bar updated...

Okay man, I had a browse through there, from page 11 down to page 1, I have it at 8 wins to 2 losses. Someone can double check that if they want. That's not incl. Lyrical warfare 2.

it all sounds cool.....its gonna be a long and hard slog for fordie etc to count back on there old battles and add up all there results.....maybe we should all start a fresh new stats......like each and every member that applies to be on the table starts at:

0 points
0 battles participated
0 battles lost
0 battles won
0 battles drawn

like dat^^^^

this way everyone has a reason to join in on the freestyle activities rather then settle with there old stats.

This could be a freakin awesome idea cause we could have like toruneys for the people who finish a period in the top 10/5.....itll really give people a reason to aim for constant high standard material.

I'd like that cause then first off people wouldn't have to go back and count all they battles (like Fordie) and like C-game said if we did it the way Bar said (subtract wins by losses) the most new battlers here could easily have a higher score than the vets.

Overall I'm likin' the ideas.

It used to be man, I can`t find my first battles either. I think they're gone.

I don`t like the resetting of stats idea, I think if the new guys are good enough, they'll catch up pretty easily. Plus, they have an advantage of beating some of the vets by surprise, cos they have the unknown factor on their side.
