He wanted to release his album last year but Em told him to wait. At the minute he has released an album every 2 yrs (2003, 2005 now 2007)

That is a similar 2 year pattern with...

Eminem from 2000 onwards (2000, 2002, 2004, 2005 greatest hits)
Xzibit (2000, 2002, 2004, 2006)

also if you put in G-unit album , Get rich or die trying original soundtrack plus the film, lots of mixtapes full of new material ( g-unit radios ), and a shit load of features....i dont think 50 is disapointed by the amount of work he does

The 1st single must be coming soon. It usually drops a few weeks before the album, and gets played on radio and TV weeks before that too...
