The Aladdin / Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino will serve as the ultimate destination during NBA All-Star Weekend in Las Vegas, from Thursday, February 15, 2007 through Sunday, February 18, 2007. The Aladdin / Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino will team up with Loose Cannon Entertainment to create what is sure to be the most talked about party venue in Las Vegas, with a series of events hosted by music giants Nelly and Jermaine Dupri.
"If you thought Club Derrty was big last year in Houston, you haven't seen anything yet," commented Grammy winning artist Nelly. "With So So Def and Derrty Ent hosting, the Aladdin/Planet Hollywood is guaranteed to be the hottest party spot during All-Star weekend," added So So Def CEO Jermaine Dupri.
The weekend-long party kicks off on Thursday, February 15th with a Tip Off Concert featuring performances by Bow Wow, Akon, Chingy, Lil Wayne, Ali+Gipp, St. Lunatics, Rich Boy, and The Clipse. Hosted by Nelly and Jermaine Dupri, this one-of-a-kind all-ages concert experience will be held at the Aladdin Theatre and is open to the general public, with tickets prices ranging from $40-$200. The Tip Off Concert will begin at 8 PM.
The fun continues on Friday, February 16th at 1 PM, with the Poker with the Stars Tournament. This Celebrity Texas Hold 'Em tournament will feature poker pros and wannabes -- who'll compete alongside celebrities and athletes. The buy-in is $2100 and the tournament is limited to 80 players.
Later that evening, hip-hop royalty Nelly, Jermaine Dupri and Pharrell will host the Rat Pack Party. The party will begin at 9 PM and in true Las Vegas style, will last ALL night long! Held in the Planet Hollywood Hotel Ballroom, ticket prices will be $100, with VIP tickets available for $200.
And that's only the beginning! Saturday, February 17th will feature the Big Ticket Party hosted by Nelly, Jermaine Dupri, TI, Lil Wayne, Carmelo Anthony and Floyd Mayweather. The party, which begins at 9 PM, is being held at the Planet Hollywood Hotel Ballroom and will boast an impressive list of celebrities and professional athletes. Ticket prices for this special event will be $100, with VIP tickets available for $200.
The final day of events -- Sunday, February 18th, will feature a full day and night of activities. Beginning at 10:30 AM, Cedric The Entertainer headlines the SoSo Derrty Celebrity Comedy Brunch -- giving a special performance for this original Sunday morning event. Event attendees will have the chance to dine and laugh alongside the stars before the big game. Tickets for the comedy brunch are $75.
The weekend's final bash, Applebottoms & King Magazine Lingerie & Pajama Party, will be hosted by Nelly, Jermaine Dupri and Melyssa Ford. Guests will have the chance to get the first peek at Applebottoms' sexy new lingerie line. The final event will begin at 9 PM, with ticket prices at $100 and $200 for VIP.
