Time travel is possible,
In fact the first technicall time traveler was a russian Astronaut (forgot his name) who spent the most time in space, as the person was constantly travelling faster earning a fraction of second into the future. Fact, just the scale is too low.

But to this point we know its possible only in one direction > the future, Einsteins "greaterthanlightspeed" effect is yet to be tested. As we cannot accelerate to the speed of light... we are forced to think of a few alternatives like "the string theory", or the space wormhole effect, which greatly amplifies gravity, deflecting time itself in proportion. From what i know, people who studied the possibility of time travel consider that at even the fully developed prject capacity the machine would not logically be able to go back in time to before the time machine was created.

It might seem useless to develope this feild of work, but it can produce other usefull tech gadgetry like teleportation, improvement of communication speeds etc.

God and Jesus.... doesn't exist.
aliens... do exist.

astronomy... useless.
studying time traveling and teleportation.... practical.

 i love you.

Get it in ur head, ive never once said, aliens exist.

Astronomy is useless in some feilds, it needs some compromises and direction of money flow.

And u make me laugh too, u believe in a being that didnt need to be created, who lives a pointless existance, knowing everything, that has and will happen. He just sits there lol.

God :flower:

That's not my God. :confusion: As you know, since u studied the Bible, there are many different interpretations of God/Jesus/Bible... that's not mine. :sweating:

What is ur interpritation then? I thought u were an evangelic christian..

The bible states it pretty clear, that god is omni-present, all knowing, and has been there before the creation and will be after... :S

Well i dont interpret "UFO'S" as aliens either, to me they have earthly origins, u keep mentioning aliens in almost every speculative thread on the board.

u realise that Mr. Enstein basically discovered time travel half a century ago lol?

edit: oh and @ danni.

I understand you, my view is somewhat similar, but without theafterlife concept, and concept of something called "god". Existance itself is a gift, in all its irony all this can be happening and be already finished at the same time. I take to account that something can exist without reason to be created, something that is "everything" ... in a sense -god, in a sense- u, me, republicans, rhinos, fried chick, fat lesbians and muslim extremists ... all being part of one. I don't consider it a belief though, more of an observation.

Except i also dont know if u consider the world as "planned" or spontaneous. Improbability just makes more logical sense to me.

:smoking:

aight enough of my pholosophical conclusions. :(

i dont think we'd be able to time travel. i dont believe that there is a time "demention". you cant "bend" it, "rip" it, etc... time is just time. but i do believe that we'd be able to "freeze" people n have them thaw in several years, but not instantly "travel" time.

hasn't it been proven that time travel is possible? didn't they use 2 atomic clocks, one on the ground, and one orbitted the earth. the one in orbit was behind a little bit.
i do believe time travel to the future will be possible. i don't think it will be controlled for a verry verry verrrrrrrry long time tho. i doubt we will ever be able to go back in time. i only think time travel to the future will be possible.
