I would say obie trice. Both are rly good but i think obie's talks about more diverse shit and shit that matters more than royce.

I don't listen to Royce much. he's good, but Obie's more actual I guess

Royce is fire, much betta than Obie. my only problem with Royce is he's always either spellin his name ova n ova or sayin it. but Royce is my final answer.

lol really who do you expect to win this on an eminem forum? ask this on any general hip hop forum and its likely royce would take it....no hate on obie...i think hes a great artist...but lyrically rouce is much better imo

royce 59 any day in terms of skills.The only reason you people only play obie trice is cause his albums feat eminem and are on the shady label. Had he not you people wouldnt play his stuff just like royce.

thats meaning us all and i can tell you now i dont listen to obie coz of eminem, the first time i heard obie trice i didnt even know he was anything to do with eminem, not untill i seen the got some teeth video and eminem was the bar man did i think he was affliated with eminem

and i listen to royce da 5'9 all the time, i just like obie better coz he makes more solid songs better concepts/stories

same here. Royce talks alot about how hes so good at rapping and stuff. obie talks more about things like his life and things tht matter more; examples are Cry Now, Ballad of Obie Trice, Mama... etc.
the topics he raps about are also more diverse than royce's topics. like if u take a look at Second rounds on me ull find 1 song about cars (24's), one about chicks (Jamaican girl), 3 about his life (Wake up, Mama, Obie Story), and some songs bout other shit. i dont see Royce talkin bout alot of shit that matters, altho i gotta say his music is still rly good.

obie is hardly using ground breakin concepts himself.It all tends to be the same old recycled stuff 'snitches,bitches,guns,drugs and thugs'.Concept wise imortal tech shits on them both.
