Don't think so. They just won 1 outta 3 and the win wasnt convincing that much. Theyll have to face big guns now. Aus, SL and NZ got 6 pts each and SA got 4. Eng and WI only 2. This world cup isn't for Eng. I'm not sure whether they'll get selected 4 da semis even :confusion:

The England team depend solely on Kevin Pietersen as far as batting is concerned.Micheal Vaughan & Flintoff haven't been in good form & they didn't bring Andrew Strauss along.If other batsmen contribute then they might have a chance.Don't count on it though.
But the SL vs England match it finally felt that I was watching a world cup match & not some friendly fixture.
West Indies do have a chance of reaching the semis if they win all the upcoming three matches.They have 2 points from the previous round.All they need to do is for Chris Gayle to get going.If Gayle gives them a good run rate Lara can mantain that rate & Chanderpaul can stem the innings.They need to work on their fielding too.

omg Bangaladeshies won :zipped:

good 4 them. Didnt watch Africans batting but I think the were all out for 184 cos they were only focusing about net run rate I guess

i watched da whole match it was depressin...they gave up early...

and dam ryt now da british are doin fine..they just lost BELL now.. i hope they win..that will bring da tourney wide open

Yeah.But only if England are tight in the field like Bangladesh.Even if The Aussies mess up e.g. if Gilchrist plays a loose shot & hits the ball in the air then England have got to capitalize & catch it.

So far Australia are going at an ok rate 29-0 in 7.4 overs.
