Daddy Yankee Announces Tour Dates

Daddy Yankee, responsible for such hits as "Gasolina" and "Rompe," has announced an 18-city U.S. tour in support of his upcoming album, The Cartel: The Big Boss, which is due to be released June 5th via El Cartel/Interscope.
The tour in its entirity will include 40 cities in the U.S. and Latin America, and will begin on August 31st at the Allstate Arena in Chicago, according to Billboard. The tour ends on October 14th at the Toyota Center in Houston.
Scheduled locations include such hot spots as Boston, New York, Miami, Las Vegas, San Fransico, Los Angeles and Dallas, with tickets ranging from $40 to $100. The opening act will be eight-year-old reggaeton artist Miguelito, according to concert promoter Henry Cardenas.
Before performing in the states, Daddy Yankee will be performing in both Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic. After the U.S. tour, he will be performing in over 20 concerts in Mexico and South America, though early december.
Fans in the states will have chance to win concert tickets through early presale of The Cartel: The Big Boss on iTunes, as part of a joint venture with Tickmaster and Apple's iTunes Music Store.
