Why do they make prisoners riding the lightning, why do they hang prisoners, why do they make prisoners smell "perfumes" and die, tied on chair, should they stop it, i say the should, what's your opinion

i don't think there's a point in discussin it for 5th time, but i'm gonna say it again - yes, Prison Break changed my opinion a bit, but i still say "keep it". two days ago a man stabbed his 5 year old daughter - now he's gonna go to prison for.. 25 years and they gonna let him out after 7 for good behaviour.. tell me what's the point of keepin him alive?

people live in poverty and those motherfuckers have 3 meals per day, tv, art classes............. :confusion:

and who pays for it? WE.

i'm not sayin "death penalty for everyone", cuz it's obvious. but for a guy who stabbed his daughter or killed a taxi driver for $50.. -_-'

The more criminals hang on ropes the less wanna-be criminals with prosperity to do something incredibly stupid will thrive.

In fact punishment for crime should be so humiliating an inhumane that police should have no need to exist.

Fact is that innocent people are in death row, i say death penalty? Yes, but it has to be 100% sure the mofo did it...
Oh and when u kill someone here when ur like 17 u just get a re-raising cus they think u got raised wrong..

hmm.. when you're 17 you should be fully capable of seeing the difference between good and bad but... depends on the circumstances. but in fact.. you're kinda right.

The fact is, if ur moral enough, you wont put urself in a situation that could classify you as a suspect. And cases were simply random people get deathrow that ha nothing to do with the crime are rare.

just wrote a paper on it. not sure about other countries, but here im against it. just do some research. its proven that having the death penalty doesn't make ppl think twice about killin somebody. in fact, the whole death penalty thing is hypocritical in itself. when ur gonna kill a person for killin somebody else, ur breakin ur own law. i used to be for it until i've written a few papers on it and did a lot of research on it. i understand the punishment should fit the crime, but there really is no point. it costs about 2.5 million more dollars to sentence somebody for the death penalty than to sentence them to life w/o parole because they have to be thorough with the process when trying to sentence a person to death. but there still have been cases that were proven that they killed an innocent person. there really is no good reason to sentence a person to death besides givin them what they did to someone else, but i dont feel like paying for that when the millions of dollars could be spent on many other important things such as education. its also a fact that ppl tend to kill when they haven't been brought up in a "wealthy" family that cant afford a good education. its just stupid

i am 110% in favor of the death penalty. i am not however in favor of lethal injection. i think its too easy on the killer. they should go through a torture of some sort. hanging, electric chair, a few non-lethal shots and then one lethal shot to the head. people who kill should be killed. i can give a fuck less if they are mentally retarded. if u are smart enough to kill someone then u should be responsible for your actions and face the consequences. i think that convicted people should have the right to have 1 appeal in court and then if found guilty again then they should be taken to the back of the courtroom and get finished off. fuck this "wait 20 years to see if they really did it" shit. if u are found guilty twice then u should be killed. fuck cruel and unusual punishment.

the only crimes i feel should end in death penalty are molestation and rape. if you send them to jail they get out anyway due to parole, good behavior, or w.e. other reason.

i did this in school a little and it would work if it was organized better

coz ok if any of you ever seen shawsank redemtion ?

the guy killed someone when he was a kid and did get reformed, and people do go to jail and get reformed it does work sometimes, and ok the killing other people is sick and wrong but sometimes people do stupid stuff and they deserve heavy punishment but not death, i mean 2 gangs go into a fight and one guy end up killing another guy, so the guy gets took to trial for murder and then death penalty ? is that fair, both of the people were as bad as each other for fighting in a gang one is already dead killing the other one doesnt do anything good, but the guy is young and with 15 years in jail could come up and be a member to society, he already gonni lose his youth life is that not bad enough ?

my dads mate is in jail now coz he and 2 other guys were durnk and went to this guys house and gave him a kicking the guy ended up dieing, witch is worng and there all aresholes for that, but he will now not get out till hes like 52 and when he went into jail his daughter was just born his first daughter and he is goni miss her whole life till she's like 16 or 18, and i know whne he gets out he aint goni be doin nothing illegal again..he doesnt deserve to die

for death penatly/capital punishment to work, once the person is convicted guilty they should have phycologist test and lie detcters to get a grasp of there state of mind, if the guy is just a crazy physco..killl him, but if hes just a guy done a stupid thing and after his time in jail will most likely just go setlle down and get on with a quiet life...he dont need to die

there isnt a death penalty in England except for treason.

i think that there should be a death penalty for serius crimes (murder, rape...) becasue it would get rid of lots of crimina and make the country a safer place
